1. Difference between t-test and ANOVA for comparing group means

   t-test -- two groups ANOVA -- three or more groups

2. What's the relation between base rate and pre-test probability?

   Both similar to prevalence. Base rate is used for groups: % of people with a disorder in the sample Pre-test probability is used for an individual: Probability of having a disorder before performing the diagnostic test (equal to base rate)
