Algebra 1A - Graphing Transformed Functions

What are the ways to transform a function: translating (shifting) reflecting rotating
A translation is a slide of a function either left or right (horizontally) or up or down (vertically).
A reflection is a mirror image. The function f(x) can be either reflected across the x or y axis
A rotation is a transformation that rotates a function f(x) around a point.
What are the steps needed to graph transitions?
Get some points for f(x) (just plug in x =-2,-1,0,1,2,3...) Get some points for g(x) (just use the points for f(x)) Graph them DONE!
