The Phospholipid Heads are Hydrophilic
What are the Phospholipid Bilayer made out of?
The Phospholipid Head and Fatty Acid Tails
What is Diffusion
Substances moving down a Concentration Gradient
Isotonic are when the Solute levels are the same and there are no Net Movement
Hypotonic Is when there are more Water outside the cell and the water moves in and making the cell swollen.
Hypertonic is when there are more water inside the cell and the water moves out making the cell plasmolysed
What are Integral proteins?
Proteins that are Permanently Stuck on to the Plasma Membrane
What are Peripheral Proteins?
Proteins that can detach from the Plasma membrane
Transmembrane Proteins are Proteins that span across the Plasma Membrane
